My work splits into two halves: the businesses I've founded and operate, and the focus areas where I do the hands-on technical work. Both are real, both are current, and both come from the same instinct, to build the honest solution and stand behind it.

Alien IT Solutions
My core business and the home of most of my client work: Sydney IT services and hosting. Alien IT covers managed IT, networks and Wi-Fi, internet and phone, data-centre and hosting, cloud, and security, the full set of things a business needs to run, delivered by one team that understands how they fit together rather than a different vendor for each. It's where the whole-stack approach earns its keep every day.

Sydney IT is the approachable, on-call side of the work, setup, support and the everyday fixes for the shops, trades, clinics and small offices that don't have an IT department and don't want one. The promise is simple: someone local who answers, explains things in plain language, and gets your tech out of your way.

An account-recovery and email-security service. safe2recover exists for the moments when someone has lost access to an account or had their email compromised, often a frightening, vulnerable situation. It's built with a genuine duty of care: careful, security-first, and designed to help people get back in safely rather than make a bad day worse.

The technical ground I cover, day to day. A growing portfolio of connectivity and infrastructure services, much of it aimed squarely at the rural, remote and temporary sites the big providers ignore.
Managed IT, networks & Wi-Fi
The core of business IT: designing and running networks, Wi-Fi, internet and VoIP, servers and storage, backups and monitoring. Done properly, this is the layer nobody has to think about, which is exactly the point.
Data centre, cloud & hosting
From racking hardware in a data centre to standing up and securing cloud infrastructure and hosting. Web and email hosting, self-hosting for people who want to own their infrastructure, and the access control, backups and recovery that keep it safe.
CCTV & physical security
Cameras, access control and physical security, designed and integrated with the rest of the network rather than bolted on as an afterthought, so the security system is actually part of the system.
Rural Wi-Fi & long-range links
Reliable connectivity for properties spread across distance. Long-range, point-to-point wireless links carry internet and data across kilometres of open country to sheds, second dwellings and far paddocks that cable will never reach.
Starlink setup
Satellite internet for the places terrestrial networks have written off. Proper installation, mounting and integration so Starlink becomes a dependable backbone for a property rather than a gadget on the roof.
Farm IoT & tank monitoring
LoRa and IoT sensing put eyes on the things that used to need a drive out to check, water tank and dam levels, troughs, bores, pumps and environmental conditions, with readings and alerts delivered back even where there's no phone signal.
Event & temporary networks
Stand-up networks for events and temporary sites: Wi-Fi, internet and connectivity that has to work first time, hold up under load, and pack down clean when it's done.
Emergency IT
When something critical has gone down, the priority is getting back online safely and fast. Emergency IT for properties and sites off the beaten track, diagnosing the fault, restoring service, and then fixing the underlying cause so it doesn't recur.
AI, automation & bespoke builds
AI agents, workflow automation, integrations and custom software, taking repetitive, error-prone work off people's plates and joining up systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
